How to configure Google checkout.

For Version 5 and below:

Login to Google checkout account, then click the setting tab, then click the integration menu on the left. You will get this page.
You can get the Google merchant ID and google merchant key
API callback URL: siteurl/googlereponsehandle.php. Example if your web site is http://www.pennyauctionsoftdemo.com/. the API callback URL should be: http://www.pennyauctionsoftdemo.com/googlereponsehandle.php

Also make sure your Google API information is entered in the admin panel under payment settings and the gateway is enabled (test mode is off also).

For Version 6:

Return API URL:

https://www.yoursite.com/payment_google_notify.php
